Hair & hair transplantation
The management of hair concerns does not come down to transplantation alone. Hair loss, loss of density, alopecia or a change in the frontal hairline require above all that their origin be understood and that the hair capital be assessed as a whole.
My approach
Diagnosis, preservation, restoration.
Every course of care begins with a personalised hair assessment: clinical examination, trichoscopy, analysis of the density, of the scalp and of how the hair loss has progressed. Where relevant, laboratory tests or further investigations may supplement this evaluation.
The aim is first of all to preserve and strengthen the existing hair. Depending on the indication, the strategy may combine medical treatments, mesotherapy, PRP/PRF, exosomes, biostimulation, injectable treatments and hair laser.
When a transplant is indicated, it forms part of a genuine long-term strategy. The design of the frontal hairline, the number of grafts, the density, the orientation and the distribution are planned on an individual basis, taking into account the anatomy, the age, the donor area and the future evolution of the hair.
FUE transplantation, transplantation on long hair, as well as beard or eyebrow restoration, may be offered depending on the indications. Care under sedation may also be considered in order to improve comfort in appropriate situations.
The aim: to preserve the hair capital and to restore density lastingly, with a natural and harmonious result that remains consistent over time.
Indications
Hair loss & loss of density
Hair loss, thinning hair, gradual loss of density and alopecia.
Hair medicine & regeneration
Preservation of the hair capital, stimulation, improvement of the quality of the scalp and support before or after a transplant.
Transplantation & hair restoration
Frontal hairline, temporal recessions, crown, densification, long hair, beard and eyebrows.
Precautions & aftercare
What is assessed, what may occur
A medical and hair assessment makes it possible to establish the diagnosis and to determine whether a medical treatment, a regenerative treatment or a transplant is indicated.
In the case of a transplant, the donor area and the foreseeable progression of the alopecia are studied in order to build a lasting strategy.
Follow-up continues after the procedure in order to support regrowth and to preserve the existing hair.
