My approach

Tightening, firmness, naturalness.

Skin laxity is not treated by adding volume alone. I analyse its different components in order to choose a strategy suited to the quality of the skin, to the degree of laxity and to the anatomy of each face and each neck.

When the indication is appropriate, thread lifts can subtly reposition certain tissues and redefine the contours without altering expressions.

Depending on what is needed, they may be combined with collagen stimulators, with biostimulation, with exosomes, with radiofrequency, with HIFU or with other medical technologies, in order to act on firmness and skin quality as well.

This combined approach makes it possible to work at different levels and to support the lower face, the submental area and the neck as they slacken, without systematically seeking to compensate for this with volume.

The aim: to regain more clearly defined contours, firmer skin and a naturally redrawn face, without weighing it down or transforming it.

Indications

Facial oval & jowls

Loss of definition of the facial oval, jowls and gradual sagging of the tissues.

Neck & submental area

Laxity under the chin, loss of firmness in the neck and less defined cervicofacial contours.

Laxity of the lower face

Loss of tone, marionette lines and gradual change in the contours.

Precautions & aftercare

What is assessed, what may occur

A prior consultation makes it possible to assess the degree of laxity and to determine the most appropriate technique.

After the threads have been placed, oedema, bruising, tenderness or transient irregularities may occur.

The post-treatment instructions and the resumption of activities are adapted to the technique performed.
