Hyaluronic acid is a molecule naturally present in our body, notably in the skin. In aesthetic medicine, it is used in the form of resorbable injectable gels whose properties differ according to the objective sought.

Why use hyaluronic acid?

Depending on the product chosen, on the area and on the injection technique, it may make it possible to restore certain volumes, to redraw contours, to correct an asymmetry, to improve hydration or to accompany the changes in the face linked to the passing of time.

The objective is not necessarily to add volume. It is above all a matter of regaining a balance and of respecting the natural proportions of the face.

An overall approach to the face

A wrinkle or a hollow is not always treated directly. The analysis takes account of the face as a whole: its structure, its volumes, the quality of the skin, the expressions and the proportions.

It is this analysis that makes it possible to determine where to intervene, with which product, in what quantity and sometimes… to decide not to inject.

Results that must remain natural

My philosophy is to favour the right quantity and the right procedure. The aim is to preserve the expressions and the singularity of each face, without seeking to reproduce a standardised aesthetic model.

And after the injection?

Redness, oedema, tenderness or bruising may appear after the treatment. They are usually transient. Personalised instructions are given after each session, and follow-up may be offered depending on the indication.

Enhance without transforming: hyaluronic acid remains a tool, and what is essential lies in the indication and in the mastery of the procedure.
